Dreaming of Canada is an independent travel website. Some pages contain affiliate links. This means that if you click an eligible link and later make a booking or purchase, we may receive a commission from the provider.
What this means for you
Using an affiliate link will normally not increase the price you pay. The commission is paid by the partner according to the terms of its affiliate programme.
Current affiliate relationships
The Website currently includes affiliate links to travel services such as Booking.com. We may add, remove or change affiliate partners over time when doing so is relevant to the Website and useful for travellers.
How affiliate links affect our content
Affiliate relationships help support the cost of operating and improving the Website, but they do not give a partner the right to dictate our editorial conclusions. We aim to recommend destinations, areas, services and booking options because they are relevant to the reader, not simply because a commission may be available.
Where appropriate, affiliate links are marked technically with attributes such as rel="sponsored". We also use this disclosure page to explain the commercial relationship in plain language.
Prices, availability and third-party terms
Prices and availability shown by external booking services can change at any time. The final price, taxes, fees, cancellation terms, payment conditions and availability are determined by the third-party provider, not by Dreaming of Canada. Always review the provider’s current terms before completing a transaction.
No guarantee of suitability
An affiliate link is not a guarantee that a product, hotel, attraction or service is suitable for every traveller. Consider your own needs, budget, travel dates and cancellation requirements before booking.
